PLEASANT HILL, Mo. - As the coronavirus spreads, the National Weather Service warns against the use of quarantine tents, especially in thunderstorms.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Al Pietrycha tells KXCV/KRNW that various factors in thunderstorms can result in destroyed tents.
Meteorologists say people in tents are at the same risk of getting struck by lightning as if they were outside.KXCV-KRNW
